Global Population

The global human population has been drastically increasing since the dawn of the Industrial Revolution in the late 1700s, from one billion in 1800 to nearly 8.1 billion by the beginning of 2024.  But these trends vary from country to country and the overall human population is projected by many experts to reach zero growth by 2100.
