  • Most polluted region: San Jose Province| AQI = Ranges from an average in the low 30s (Good) early in the day to the mid-50s (moderate) later in the day and evening.  (Aqicn.org-Costa Rica – Real Time)
  • Least polluted region: Alajuela Province & Heredia Province | AQI = 8 – Very Good (Air Matters/AirQuality.com-Costa Rica).
