SYRACUSE, NY – August 7, 2024 Ecology Prime(EP), the first global ecology hub system platform for all students, teachers, consumers, businesses and every individual worldwide, is formally announcing the unique service after over 18 months of online incubation working in large part with graduate students at Syracuse University. The announcement was made today jointly by parent Ecology Prime Inc. Founder and Executive Chairman, Eric McLamb, and Dr. Arthur Thomas, Director of iConsult Collaborative, College of Professional Studies at Syracuse University (iConsult).

Ecology Prime™ is a uniquely innovative, up-and-coming ecology-based global user engagement and education system designed to connect all people with dynamic real-world ecology presented and interconnected in compelling ways. The Ecology Prime™ business model is embedded in the current prototype which will expand exponentially into the future to embrace all regions and all people in welcoming terms, all the while presenting and maintaining authoritative information. It is designed for users to relate to, feel and sense their connections with the environment and easily access and engage vital information in visualized terms.

In simple terms, Ecology Prime™ delivers an accessible and dynamic platform for interconnecting diverse ecological information with Earth’s innerworkings to engage people from all locations worldwide.

The platform was created to provide a digital and physical means for people to understand their vital connections to the world around them, personally participating along paths they find compelling to them. The entrenched business model lays the foundation for extending the Ecology Prime™ experience and mission to global land-based operations through exploration and educational centers, media bases, and wellness and hospitality locations, among others, that feature the local region as presented and managed by the local residents.

The Ecology Prime™ Destinations platform and its interrelated application, Pulse of the Planet, form the central information driver from which all elements and functionalities of the platform are spun. All sections and functionalities of the pillar EP platform are designed to captivate and entertain while providing educational support, enlightenment and inspiration to know more. This is all brought together through the world’s ancestral human connections with Indigenous Ecology . Indigenous Ecology observes global ecology through the world’s indigenous peoples, the origins of humanity and the ecological values they have brought forward over multiple millennia.

In this way, the platform has embarked on a truly global effort to support the Earth’s vast and rich biomes, peoples and cultures.

The educational applications for all groups and levels are intrinsic and highly adaptable for teachers and students, not to mention lifelong learners. A key objective of the EP mission lies in its focus on the K-16 education group– or kindergarten to college-age users. This is where the seeds of values and understandings are planted for application in future global leadership.

The iConsult Team provides research for the acquisition and verification of vital statistics related to the ecology of all countries worldwide for Ecology Prime’s central Destinations and Pulse of the Planet platforms.  Ecology Prime and iConsult teamed up in January 2023 when the prototype platform first emerged on the web to carry the Destinations research forward. Today, this collaboration has matured into a full, symbiotic professional working alliance between iConsult and their specially selected student teams and Ecology Prime™ leadership to present one of the world’s most authoritative and dynamic platforms for ecological engagement and learning for all people.

The Ecology Prime leadership mentors the iConsult Team in their research and web development undertakings to help the students enhance their skills and gain real-world professional experience. The EP leadership that engages the student team includes seasoned veterans in communications, statistics and derivative assessments, environmental science and studies, ecological psychology, marketing, publishing, journalism and web development.

“The close collaboration between iConsult and Ecology Prime has been extremely beneficial for our students at the University,” said Dr. Thomas.  “The teams we have assigned to the Ecology Prime project consist of students who are pursuing careers in data analytics, data management, website user experience and information systems.”

Specifically, iConsult works with Ecology Prime to convert authoritative data on the ecology of all countries around the world into engaging, visualized data that connects with users to demonstrate each country’s unique ecological characteristics and cultures along with their similarities to global audiences in all languages.

Uniquely, when a student team takes on a Destination, they immerse themselves as residents of the country in order to present it as the people who live there experience it every day. Residents and services of those countries are connected for their input and participation, thus laying the groundwork for each Destination to maintain a physical presence in those regions that are of, by and for their residents.

In addition, iConsult assists EP with the web tech development of Destinations and its related platform, Pulse of the Planet, in concert with the requirements of the data being published. The iConsult web development teams work directly with the Ecology Prime web architects and IT team to engage students in the execution of this unique educational process.

As a result, iConsult Collaborative students gain real-world digital practical experience as they elevate the accessibility of unique regions from around the world that everyone can relate to, learn from, contribute to and genuinely enjoy.

One of the master’s students who has served as a Team Leader for the Spain Destination and other countries, Tejas Amrutkar – who is also an Azure Certified Data Engineer, is now applying his experience with Ecology Prime from the past year to the advanced role of Program Manager until he graduates. “Our collaboration with Ecology Prime™ has been an incredible opportunity for growth and innovation,” Tejas said, acknowledging that the Team’s work on the project also helped them come to know and better understand other cultures as well as help them do a deep dive into the environmental aspects of each region.

The Ecology Prime platform is designed to connect with all people around the world regardless of language, ethnicity or nationality. It is currently translatable into languages spoken by nearly two-thirds of the global population with plans to include 100% of the population by early 2025 if not before. Attention is focused on design and careful use of images and textual content to ensure maximum translation efficiency.

An important founding principle for Ecology Prime is to engage students in its creation.  The iConsult-Ecology Prime™ relationship effectively brings this founding principle full circle. Like all ecological systems, their working mission is evergreen and is continuously evolving. Accordingly, and with the help of users, this collaboration will work to update and refine unique content that will reflect the ever-changing nature of humanity and ecology.

The iConsult Collaborative is a university-wide program at Syracuse University, sponsored by the College of Professional Studies, to build experience for both graduate and undergraduate students through real-world client projects involving digital transformation. iConsult provides the opportunity to involve students from multiple schools and colleges within the University in cross-functional project teams.  The College of Professional Studies is a global, inclusive and future-facing college, providing access to diverse students and learners seeking a Syracuse University degree, credential, certificate, or education experience.

Dr. Thomas sees the Ecology Prime project as one that provides students the opportunity to engage hands-on real-world experience in their professional fields while performing important work. “Eric and the team at Ecology Prime have taken significant time to help mentor the students to learn what potential options work best for certain data and how to present the data in an engaging, yet standard, way,” he said.  “This has given our students significant insight into best practices in the field of data science, and this practical experience has been invaluable to their career development.”
